First of all I want to say my mom kind of has a thing for blueberries. Yesterday, she made blueberry muffins for lunch and they were delicious!! Of course, I took some pictures… (taken with my iPhone.)
Hello everyone! I am excited for spring, and judging from the snow we’ve gotten these past months and days, I think the summer will be a wet one. To ring in the fairer months, I formulated a recipe for lip gloss. You can make it with vanilla, mint, strawberry, chocolate, lemon, or any other flavor you want.
Cosmetic grade almond or coconut oil
Petrolatum jelly (if you can find a safer ingredient that has qualities similar to petrolatum jelly, then use it instead.)
Gentle essential oil OR flavor – strawberry, vanilla, mint, etc.
Small tin with lid
Cosmetic grade mica powder or very fine sparkly powder
Small bowl for mixing
In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of petrolatum jelly with 5 drops of almond or coconut oil until completely smooth. Stir in 1 drop of a gentle essential oil or 1 – 2 drops of flavor. Add a TINY pinch of sparkly powder or mica powder (a little goes a long way!) or a full pinch for some stunning shine. Use a spatula to scoop the mixture into a small tin. Use whenever for glossy lips!
Today, I finished my math textbook and yesterday I completed my vocabulary workbook. Yay!
